Jadzia Dax in Starfleet Uniform : Alien Contest

This version of this Jadzia Dax figure was on a Series Two packaging design. This design, which is a Series One release, also has the Design An Alien decal on the bubble. This combination isn't supposed to exist.

While researching it in more detail, the best explanation I was given is that O'Brien and Dax were made in a limited amount in this style. This Dax figure was optained from a Playmates Toys employee, that is nearly certain they weren't released to the general public since there was so few.

The only other versions of this figure released on this style packaging was in Australia, with a poor quality of plastic used for the blister (nearly all have turned yellow), and no Alien Contest decal on the bubble. It was also available in Canada, with french on the packaging, and no Alien decal.
