When we first launched our new online store in April, we were limiting orders to Curbside pick up due to the shut down, and some local delivery. Then, we added Ontario shipping via Shipper Bee. Next, across Canada via Canada Post. Now, with the winter months here, and Hamilton’s current “Red Rating”, we’re offering the option to have your online orders delivered. Delivery Fee is based on where you live in the city. If the Delivery Option doesn’t show up for you, then you’re either in Dundas, Waterdown, or Ancaster – in which case, we’d recommend Shipper Bee if you don’t want to pick up your items at the store. COVID19 isn’t magically vanishing “like a miracle” anytime soon, so we want to make sure that you’re able to get gifts for your loved ones this holiday season, easier than ever with us.
Speaking of our website. We’ve had some hiccups along the way, and listened to your suggestions. So, starting today, all orders are still processed via Moneris, but you don’t leave our site to do so. We’ve found a few people had processing issues when you were forced to leave the site to pay for your order… mainly, we’d get your money, and you’d get no confirmation of the order. (Don’t worry, we voided those orders immediately). We had Moneris walk us through the step by step set up for this, and it’s been tested countless times. That error should never happen again.
We’ve also heard that you’d like more info on the options when finalizing the order. So we’ve set up a secondary email that sends you information about the option you selected. In short, most people will now get three emails confirming your order : The Order, Payment, and Shipping.
